A trip to the site of Brighton-born composer & pacifist Frank Bridge’s birthplace on Conscientious Objectors’ Day

Meeting OUTSIDE main entrace of St Nicholas’ Church, Dyke Road, Brighton. This is a short walk downhill from the church.

This Heritage legacy event result from volunteers’ project work, helping to place in context music from the First World War.

After our short walk to the site of the house we shall stop at a nearby public house for suitable refreshment and beverages and a discussion of the different roles of conscientious objectors during WWI.
