MOOT - music of our time is a not-for-profit music arts education charity.
Since its founding in 2011 by Artistic Director Norman Jacobs, MOOT has created several series in Brighton Fringe and Brighton Science Festival programs including The Musician’s Body, Sounds of War - Instruments of Peace and Music For Curious Minds, with events focusing on innovative and contemporary music practices. We have maintained a regular feature on music and disability, in particular: performance by left-handed performers, music and the deaf, assisted music technologies.
